It all started in 2007 when shopping for my own wedding invitations and finding nothing that had that wow factor that I wanted. I decided to make my own and in those long hours of trying to finish them so they could be mailed, a love of paper and paper crafting was born. So many of our guests complimented them and I now had a dream of starting a business in helping other people create that wow factor with their invitations. But, as with many things life got in the way and the dream was shelved for many, but I never stopped developing my craft and learning new techniques.

Finally, in 2013 the stars aligned themselves perfectly and with a lot of support from my husband, Justin, Decorate Your Big Day was founded. We specialize in laser cut party goods and everything is made out of our home in North Olmsted, Ohio. The pride of my workspace is an Epilog Laser System that gives us the ability to provide some real unique designs.

Although I still work my full time job outside of the house and the days can get kind of crazy. Every extra moment is spent working on new designs and expanding the business. Today, I look at my wedding invitation from so many years ago and it isn't even comparable to the work I do now. I am still really proud of it though and it reminds me how this all started.
